Amazon Prime Big Deal Days 2026
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days: Huge Savings October 6–7, 2026
Amazon is kicking off the fall and holiday shopping season with Prime Big Deal Days, taking place October 6–7, 2026. This two-day shopping event is exclusive to Prime members and will feature millions of deals across more than 35 categories.
The event begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 and runs through October 7. Amazon says shoppers can expect deals on everything from electronics and home essentials to fall fashion, Halloween items, toys, beauty products, and early holiday gifts.
If you’ve been waiting to make a larger purchase, stock up on household essentials, or get an early start on holiday shopping, this is definitely an event to have on your calendar.
Deals You Don’t Want to Miss
Amazon will be adding new deals throughout the event, so don’t expect everything to appear at once. Today’s Big Deals will drop three times a day at 12 a.m., 8 a.m., and 1 p.m. PDT, giving shoppers new opportunities to find limited-time discounts. Deals are available while supplies last.
Amazon has already announced savings of 45% or more on hundreds of thousands of deals from brands including Sony, Tarte, and adidas. Some of the seasonal categories to watch include:
- Fall clothing and shoes
- Electronics and tech
- Kitchen appliances
- Home décor and bedding
- Halloween costumes and decorations
- Beauty and personal care
- Toys and games
- Game day and tailgating essentials
- Holiday décor and gifts
- Grocery and pantry items
Amazon is also highlighting deals from brands such as Shark, Princess Polly, Soundcore by ANKER, Dyson, LEGO, Dove, Canon, Caraway, Play-Doh, and more.
Get Ready for Halloween
Prime Big Deal Days arrives at a great time if you’re shopping for Halloween.
Amazon says shoppers will find Halloween costumes and accessories starting at $5, along with candy, decorations, party supplies, and other Halloween essentials.
This is also a good opportunity to look for seasonal décor and entertaining supplies before Halloween gets even closer.
Start Your Holiday Shopping Early
If you don’t want to wait until Black Friday to start your holiday shopping, Prime Big Deal Days is worth checking out.
Amazon’s Holiday Shop will feature holiday décor, entertaining essentials, electronics, and gift ideas for everyone on your list. Amazon is also highlighting curated shopping lists, including gifts for her, gifts for him, gifts for kids, Christmas décor, and cozy finds.
Amazon’s annual Top 100+ Toys List is also available for shoppers who want to get a jump-start on Christmas shopping. The list includes toys organized by age and interest, with options at different price points.
Amazon Haul Deals
Amazon Haul is another section worth checking during Prime Big Deal Days.
Amazon says shoppers can find seasonal items such as mugs, candles, blankets, pajamas, and other finds starting at just $1. There are also game-day items discounted by as much as 50%, along with home décor under $8 and fall fashion under $6.
If you’re looking for inexpensive seasonal items or stocking stuffers, Amazon Haul could be a good place to browse.

Fresh Grocery Deals
Prime Big Deal Days isn’t just about electronics and home products.
Amazon is also highlighting grocery savings for fall entertaining and game-day gatherings. Some of the announced deals include select grocery items starting at $1, with savings of up to 75% on select products. Prime members can also receive free delivery on qualifying grocery orders over $25 in most areas.
New Ways to Find Deals with Alexa
Amazon is introducing more ways to use Alexa for Shopping during Prime Big Deal Days.
You can ask Alexa questions such as whether something on your list is currently on sale. Alexa can also set deal alerts for specific products or categories and help shoppers keep track of new releases and upcoming deals.
This could be especially useful during a sale when prices and availability can change quickly.
Shopping Tips for Prime Big Deal Days
If you’re planning to shop Prime Big Deal Days, there are a few things you can do to prepare.
Check prices before you buy. Just because something has a Prime Big Deal Days badge doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the lowest price you’ve ever seen. Amazon now provides a Price History link on product pages that can show up to 365 days of pricing information.
Set deal alerts. Alexa for Shopping can notify you when specific products or categories go on sale.
Check back throughout the day. New Today’s Big Deals will be released three times a day, so a product that isn’t discounted in the morning could be later.
Watch for Lightning Deals. These limited-time offers can disappear quickly, so don’t wait too long if you find something you’ve been watching.
Don’t forget Amazon Haul. If you’re shopping for inexpensive seasonal items, household products, or small gifts, check Amazon Haul for additional savings.
Do You Need Amazon Prime?
Yes. Prime Big Deal Days is a Prime-member shopping event, so you’ll need an active Prime membership to access the event’s exclusive deals.
Amazon currently lists Prime at $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Eligible customers can also sign up for a 30-day free trial.
College students and young adults ages 18–24 may qualify for Prime for Young Adults, while qualifying customers can also apply for Prime Access at a discounted rate.
If you sign up for a free trial just for the sale, remember to check your membership settings if you don’t plan to continue after the trial period.
Some of My Favorite Amazon Deals
I’ll be adding more of my favorite Prime Big Deal Days finds here as the sale gets underway, so check back throughout October 6–7.
