What Is Amazon Outlet? (Updated August 31, 2026)

Amazon Outlet is a dedicated clearance section within the Amazon marketplace where shoppers can find new overstock and closeout items at deeply discounted prices. Unlike returned or refurbished products, Amazon Outlet items are brand-new and unused, making it a great option for bargain hunters looking to save on everyday essentials and trending products.

Shoppers can browse deals on electronics, home décor, kitchen gadgets, clothing, beauty products, tech accessories, toys, and more – all at reduced prices from trusted brands.

It’s important to note that Amazon Outlet is different from Amazon Resale (formerly Amazon Warehouse), which specializes in used, open-box, pre-owned, and refurbished items. Amazon Outlet focuses specifically on new overstock inventory and clearance merchandise.

How to Find the Amazon Outlet
From a desktop, click on the “All” tab right underneath the Amazon logo in the top left corner of the page. It’ll open up Amazon’s different shopping sections. Scroll down and click on “Programs and Features”, then click “See All”. Once there, scroll down until you see a tab that says “Amazon Outlet”. You can also find the entire Amazon Outlet store HERE and bookmark it on your computer for later use.

From the smartphone app, the easiest way to navigate to the page is by tapping on the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of your screen. This will take you to Amazon’s different site sections. In the top search bar, type “Amazon outlet” and hit return. You’ll be automatically directed to the Amazon Outlet overstock homepage.

Prime Membership

Although you do not need a Prime membership to reap the rewards of Amazon’s Outlet store, you may join for $14.99 per month or $139 per year, or start a free 30-day trial if eligible at amazon.com/prime.
